LHC complete counter for escuchar la súplica de Musharraf contra la formación especial de la corte el 9 de enero
LAHORE: On Tuesday, the Lahore High Court set up a full bank to listen to requests from former President General (r) Pervez Musharraf against the formation of a special tribunal that sentenced him to death in a high treason case last week .
The entire LHC bank is made up of judges Sayyed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, Muhammad Ameer Bhatti and Chaudhry Muhammad Masood Jahangir. The upper court will hear Musharraf's petitions from 9 January 2020.
Musharraf had previously moved the LHC against the constitution of the special court.

On December 17, a special court was formed to hear a case of high treason against Musharraf, condemning him under article 6 of the Constitution for imposing a state of emergency on November 3, 2007 and sentencing him to death.
It was a majority verdict, with two of the three judges making the decision against Musharraf. SHC judge Akbar disagreed with the verdict. The special court had reserved its verdict in the long-term trial for treason last month.

Musharraf, 76, is currently in Dubai, where he is seeking treatment for multiple diseases.
