FBR works to curb the under-invoicing of imports "to save the local industry": Shabbar Zaidi

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Revenue Board (FBR) has worked to curb import billing "to save the local industry," organization president Shabbar Zaidi said Tuesday.

In a post on Twitter, Zaidi said: "FBR is working seriously to reduce import billing. The system and evaluation processes have been improved."

However, the FBR president asked the country's commercial fraternity, as well as the chambers of commerce, to help the organization work to stop import billing.
